ANOTHER UNDER THE BELT CLONAKILTY BACK 2 BACK MARATHONS 2014 ROLL ON NEXT YEAR

                                                            

The inspiring Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon course of 26.2 mile (42K) is ran yearly in December along some of West Corks most spectacular coastal roads. But to do it twice over two days would surely capture the fighting spirit of any endurance runner's heart So for the last 2 years i have Run the Clonakilty Back2Back Marathon route.A unique opportunity to truly "find yourself" and test your endurance.what i like about this event as well is that all participants will be provided with 2 finishers medals and 2 unique Back2Back tech t-shirts (one for each day).which for me is great value.The Full Marathon will start and finish back home at the Clonakilty Waterfront. Living up to it's name the marathon remains on or near the sea throughout, taking in mostly coastal roads.What i like was The race finishes with the panoramic backdrop of Clonakilty Bay on entry to Clonakilty town and is stunning like the views all the way aroun the course.
